這是 Slovak 斯洛伐克他們的謎題, 顯然印了很多張放門口給人自由取閱, 他們身上的國家隊制服就是這道謎題的樣貌, 正面是題目, 而背面則是答案。
顯然是一道向英國倫敦致敬的謎題, 他們把倫敦的地鐵線當成謎題的主幹。這裡要介紹一下倫敦地鐵的背景。在倫敦身為一個觀光客, 其實地鐵就可以帶你在第1,2區四處旅遊暢行無阻(地鐵依票價分成6區, 第6區就是像距倫敦市區地鐵車程要一個小時以上的希斯洛機場)。地鐵是倫敦重要的特色, 但老實說在那兒你會懷念台北捷運的好。由於歷史悠久, 所以很多的車站都只有樓梯, 我就看到一堆觀光客提著重重的行李上下樓, 不過大家也都很認命就是了。
來說明一下規則:
Match the letters with the London attractions from the list if you know the shortest distances between some pairs of them. The distance between each two squares along the lines on the map (either black or white) is always 1 mile.
請依據提供的各觀光景點間最短距離, 填出倫敦各觀光景點在圖上的字母代號。在圖上以線相鄰的兩個小方塊(不管是黑或白), 距離都是1英里。

回國後我又拿出了這張謎題, 照著上面的網址去看他們的網站, 發現原來他們為了這趟英國行設計了不只一題的puzzle, 一共有五題, 就順便列在下方吧!!
第2題
主角: Big Ben 大笨鐘
規則:
Divide the grid into some regions formed of adjacent squares, with using dominoes (1×2 black cells). Dominoes cannot overlap, or touch each other from the sides. Each region should contain same letters and at least one letter.
將表格用多塊2格大小的Domino 片, 區隔成數個區塊。這些Domino 片不能彼此覆蓋, 以邊相鄰。每塊區域需包含相同的字母(譯注: 解題後, 題目應該增加”相同的字母要在同一區域”), 且每塊區域中至少要有一個字母。

第3 題
主角: 倫敦塔橋 Tower Bridge
規則:
Fill in the white cells with numbers 1-5 so that each of the bordered regions contains each of the numbers exactly once and no two cells with the same numbers touch each other, not even diagonally.
請在每個空白格子中填入1-5之間的數字, 讓每個粗線框區域內都含有1-5的數字各剛好一次。相同的數字不得相接, 即使對角亦然。(日本謎題 Suguru 的規則)

第4 題
主角: 倫敦之眼 London Eye
規則:
Write a number in every circle, such that the numbers in circles bordering an area with a number, sum up to that number. Each number from 1 to 17 should be used exactly once.
將數字1-17填入圓圈中, 每個數字只能用一次, 讓構成每塊(扇形)區域的三個圓圈總和, 會對於那個(扇形)區域中的數字。
這題出得不錯, 不會太難, 但是要試一下, 而且要推敲出數字間規則才能順利解出。

第5 題
主角: 英國地圖
規則:
Some cells in the grid are marked with symbols; each symbol appears exactly twice and no cell contains more than one symbol. For each pair of identical symbols, draw a path that connects those two symbols. The paths must go through orthogonally adjacent cells. Each cell must be visited by exactly one path, and no path can pass through an area of 2x2 squares.
在表格中有部分格子有填入符號, 每個符號都出現兩次, 且每格最多只出現一個符號, 請將相同符號用線相連配對。線本身只能走相鄰格子直向或橫, 且每個格子只能剛好走過一條線, 沒有任何路線是會在最後構成2x2大小的區塊。(日本的Numberlink 題目類型)
這題其實很好解, 除了英國本土的下半部分, 那兒會有三條線似乎很容易連, 但是會剩下一堆的格子, 我一直在推敲那句“Each cell must be visited by exactly one path“是指“每個格子都剛好經過一次“還是“經過的格子不能有重覆的路線“??因為這將會決定是否每個格子都要用到。
後來, 我真的可以把每個格子都用到, 而且不造成2x2 的大小, 用一種很巧妙的走法......

我喜歡謎題, 更有帶有人文氣息, 背景, 有文化意涵的謎題。
它是一種對國家的歷史及地理致敬的象徵, 也代表了設計謎題者的巧思。
